At sundown, Sunday , 9/25/2022, the month of Elul comes to its end and Rosh Chodesh Tishrei (The seventh Month) begins.
This Rosh Chodesh is a prescribed annual Shabbat and it is commanded to be “observed”.
Modern Judaism calls it “Rosh Hashana (The New Year) but we stick to Yom Teruah which is biblically prescribed in Leviticus 23.
