Pesach Siddur Weekly Readings

April 24, 2019 By R Memmi Leave a Comment

17 Incline thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, And apply thy heart unto my knowledge. 18 For it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee, If they be established together upon thy lips. 19 That thy trust may be in Avinu, I have made them known to thee this day, even to thee. 20 Have not I written unto thee excellent things Of counsels and knowledge, 21 To make thee know the certainty of the words of truth, That thou mayest carry back words of truth to them that send thee? (Pr 22:17-21 ASV)

For Moses from generations of old hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath.” (Ac 15:21 ASV)

“Till I come, attend to the public reading of scripture, to preaching, to teaching.” (1Ti 4:13)

“14 But they, passing through from Perga, came to Antioch of Pisidia; and they went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down. 15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.” (Ac 13:14-15)
